3.1.1.8. Natyazhiteli and uspokoitel of a chain, drive asteriskRemoval
NATYAZHITEL OF THE LOWER CHAIN
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Put the car on the emergency brake, lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. |
| 2. Working from below turn off two bolts of fastening and get a natyazhitel of the lower chain. Remove laying, having paid attention to its initial situation. |
Prevention
At removal of a natyazhitel rotation of the crankshaft is not allowed.

NATYAZHITEL OF THE TOP CHAIN
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Turn off three bolts of fastening and remove an arm of the right support of the power unit. |
| 2. Turn off bolts and nuts and uncover the conducted asterisks of cam-shafts, remove laying (if it is provided). |
| 3. On engines of early releases take aside a natyazhitel of a chain and record a hook which is on a side surface of a boot. |
| 4. On engines of late releases take aside a natyazhitel of a chain and record a bar, having laid a bar between a boot and a chain. |
| 5. Turn off two bolts and remove a natyazhitel, having got him from a head of cylinders. |
Prevention
At removal of a natyazhitel rotation of the crankshaft is not allowed.

USPOKOITEL OF THE LOWER CHAIN
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove chains of cam-shafts (see subsection 3.1.1.7). |
| 2. Turn off two bolts and remove an uspokoitel of the lower chain. |

NATYAZHITEL BOOT OF THE LOWER CHAIN
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove a forward cover (see subsection 3.1.1.6). |
|
2. Turn off a bolt of an axis and take off a boot of a natyazhitel of the lower chain. |

THE DIRECTING LEVEL OF THE TOP CHAIN (FOR ENGINES OF EARLY RELEASES)
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Uncover a head of cylinders (see subsection 3.1.1.4). |
| 2. Turn off two bolts and remove the directing level. |
|
USPOKOITEL OF THE TOP CHAIN (FOR ENGINES OF EARLY RELEASES)
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove a viewing cover of asterisks of cam-shafts. |
|
2. Turn off two bolts (are specified by shooters) and remove an uspokoitel of the top chain. |
|
ASTERISKS OF CAM-SHAFTS
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Install the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT. |
| 2. Uncover a head of cylinders. |
| 3. Uncover asterisks of cam-shafts. |
| 4. Remove asterisks of cam-shafts and the top chain. |

INTERMEDIATE ASTERISK AND LEADING ASTERISK OF THE CRANKSHAFT
Remove chains of the drive and an asterisk (cm. subsection 3.1.1.7).
Check of a state
See subsection 3.1.1.7.
Installation
NATYAZHITEL OF THE LOWER CHAIN
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Make sure that demountable surfaces of a natyazhitel and a cover dry and pure. |
| 2. Establish new laying, having oriented so that the cut on laying was combined with a lubricant opening of a natyazhitel. |
| 3. Establish a natyazhitel and tighten bolts with the set moment. |

NATYAZHITEL OF THE TOP CHAIN
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. On cars of early releases the boot of a natyazhitel has to be taken aside and recorded by a hook. Establish a natyazhitel assembled on a head of cylinders. Tighten bolts of fastening of a natyazhitel with the set moment, remove a hook (it is specified by an arrow). Make sure that the block of a boot of a natyazhitel with a force rested against a chain. |
| 2. On cars of late releases take aside a block of a natyazhitel and record a bar. Establish a natyazhitel and tighten bolts with the set moment. Get a bar and be convinced that the block of a boot of a natyazhitel with effort rested against a chain. |
| 3. Be convinced of purity and lack of traces of moisture and oil on the condensed surfaces of a viewing cover of asterisks of cam-shafts and heads of cylinders. If on a cover laying was established, then replace laying, having established it on a head of cylinders. If consolidation was provided with sealant, then put it on all perimeter of a cover with a continuous layer. Establish a cover and tighten bolts and nuts with the set moment. |
| 4. Establish an arm on the right support of the power unit and tighten bolts with the set moment. |

USPOKOITEL OF THE LOWER CHAIN

| 1. Install an uspokoitel on the block of cylinders. |
| 2. Tighten fastening bolts with the set moment. |
| 3. Establish chains. |
|
NATYAZHITEL BOOT OF THE LOWER CHAIN
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Install a boot on the block of cylinders. |
| 2. Tighten an axis bolt with the set moment. |
| 3. Establish a forward cover. |
|
THE DIRECTING LEVEL OF THE TOP CHAIN (FOR ENGINES OF EARLY RELEASES)
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Establish the directing level of the top chain on a head of cylinders. |
| 2. Tighten fastening bolts with the set moment. |
| 3. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders. |

| 1. Establish an uspokoitel of the top chain on a head of cylinders. |
| 2. Tighten fastening bolts with the set moment. |
| 3. Establish a cover of asterisks of cam-shafts. |

THE CONDUCTED ASTERISKS OF CAM-SHAFTS
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Establish asterisks of cam-shafts and the top chain. |
| 2. On engines of early releases establish the directing level and an uspokoitel of the top chain, tighten all bolts with the set moment. |
| 3. Establish a natyazhitel of the top chain. |
| 4. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders. |
