| 1. Before beginning work, check, new hoses together with new clips are available if it is necessary. It is recommended to replace clips together with hoses. |
| 2. Merge cooling liquid from the cooling system (see subsection 2.4.5), having kept at the same time cooling liquid if it is suitable for recycling. |
| 3. Oil clips of hoses if they are damaged by corrosion. |
| 4. Exempt clips from the corresponding hoses. Three types of hoses are used; screw, spring and coupling. |
| 5. Screw clips it is released by turn of its screw counterclockwise. Spring clips are released by compression of its ears and its removal from a hose branch pipe. Coupling clips are not reused and it is the best of all to cut off them scissors on metal or nippers. |
| 6. Remove farewell and hoses which fasten to the deleted hose. Just in case try to remember a former arrangement of all elements. |
| 7. Roundabouts remove a hose from its branch pipe. Do not damage branch pipes on such fragile components as a radiator. If the hose got stuck strongly, often the best way – to cut off it a sharp knife, but besides do not damage a branch pipe. |
| 8. Before installation of a new hose grease branch pipes with soap water or other lubricant for rubber. Do not use oil or lubricant which can corrode rubber. |
| 9. Establish hose clips for the ends of a hose, later establish a hose on branch pipes. |
| 10. Record a hose in this position, and then, fix hose clips. |
| 11. Fill the cooling system. |
| 12. Start the engine and check whether there is no leak. |
