1.12.2. Replacement of a wheelThe replacement procedure of a wheel is identical to all cars.
Preparation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. At a wheel puncture immediately stop the car, considering traffic conditions. |
2. Install the car on a plain firm surface on sufficient removal from a lane. |
3. If necessary include a signal of an emergency stop. |
4. If there is a sign of an emergency stop, then establish it for the prevention of other drivers. |
5. Put the car on the parking brake and turn on the first or reverse gear (situation Park in cars with automatic transmission). |
6. Block a wheel diagonalno opposite to replaced. |
7. In order to avoid immersion of a jack to the soft soil substitute under it a board. |

Wheel replacement procedure
PERFORMANCE ORDER |

1. Get a jack. The jack is strengthened on the right side of a luggage carrier, under the hatch. |
|
2. The spare wheel and the tool are in a niche in a luggage compartment, under a decorative slip. Turn off the holder, get a spare wheel, hook and take off a decorative cap. |
|
3. Weaken nuts of fastening of the replaced wheel. |
|
4. Establish a jack under the strengthened body threshold section, rotate the jack handle clockwise until the wheel is not raised above the ground. As the handle are used the holder of a wheel and mount for removal of a decorative cap. |

5. Turn off nuts and remove a wheel. |
|
6. Establish a spare wheel, turn and tighten fastening nuts. Check an inhaling of nuts after lowering of the car. |
|
7. Establish a decorative cap so that the gate of a wheel was opposite to its cast image on a cap. |

After replacement of a wheel
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove from under a block wheel. |
2. Put a jack and tools in a luggage carrier, observing correctness of placement. |
3. Check pressure in the tire of the established wheel. If pressure low or you have no manometer, then, moving at a small speed, reach the next garage and pump up the tire up to the normal pressure. |
4. Immediately take the damaged wheel (or the tire) to repare. |
