The Nissan company was formed in 1925 as a result of consolidation of two companies - Kwaishinsha Co (releasing the Dat cars) and Jitsuo Jidosha Co and Dat Jidosha Seizo Co was called. At first the neogenic firm released all vehicles under the name of Datsun. The first car was presented in 1931 - Nissanocar (1934), successful and economic model. During World War II the firm made, generally trucks and other equipment for army. After occupation the plants were stopped and production stopped till 1955.

Again having developed production in the 1960th years, the company of the first of all Japanese car makers realized benefit of the American and European sales market. The Nissan Datsun 240 Z sports car created for sale in the USA in 1969 escaped on the first place in the rating of sales in the class. In the late seventies Nissan undertook production of cars of the highest group of middle class, without having forgotten and about SUVs - Nissan Patrol is well-known in Russia as "the eternal jeep". Nissan opened subsidiaries in the United States, Germany, Australia, Peru, Mexico.
