6.1.4. Fuel pump


Arrangement of the fuel pump

The fuel pump is located in the left part of a head of cylinders.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For check of productivity of the pump without its removal disconnect a hose of supply of fuel to the carburetor and ask the assistant to turn the engine a starter. From a hose strong regular emissions of fuel have to be observed.
2. If the pump is removed, then muffle the output union a tampon (not to disconnect an entrance hose) and press the fuel pumping lever.
3. The lever has to move smoothly in both directions and from the union fuel emissions have to be observed.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect hoses from the pump and muffle (it can be necessary for access to remove the air filter).
2. Turn off bolts and remove the pump together with a pro-rate.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear the planes, establish a new pro-rate and the pump, tighten bolts.
2. Attach hoses, fix by collars.
