11:11. Brake pedal

Measurement of height of a pedal

1. Braking signal switch

2. Rug

3. Waterproofing layer

4, 6. Antinoise covering of a partition

5. Floor

7. Rug

8. Pusher

9. Lock-nut

A. Free wheeling

D. Height of the pressed pedal

H. Height of the released pedal

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure distance from a pedal to a floor.
2. If necessary remove the lower forward panel from the driver (cm. subsection 13.26).
3. Remove a slip in the driver's legs, disconnect latches and remove a rug, having opened access to the hatch in an antinoise covering of a floor.
4. Remove the hatch and check pedal height.
5. Compare to standard value.
6. If necessary adjust a pedal, having arrived as follows.
7. Turn off a lock-nut of a pusher and rotating a pusher establish the necessary height of a pedal.
8. Tighten a lock-nut with the set moment.
9. Check a free wheeling of a pedal which is equal to movement of a pedal to feeling of weakness in resistance to its course.
10. After a pedal otpuskaniye the signal of braking has to die away.
11. Otherwise replace the switch (the switch is strengthened on a pedal arm by bayonetny connection and it is not regulated).
12. Start the engine and idling check height of the pressed pedal.
13. If height is less than norm, then brakes are faulty.
14. In this case replace liquid in a hydraulic actuator and remove air.
15. If this measure does not yield results, then check a condition of the main thing and wheel cylinders.
16. Upon termination of install all removed panels.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the lower forward panel from the driver.
2. Rasshplintuyte also remove an axis, check a condition of an axis.
3. Disconnect wires from the braking signal switch.
4. Turn off four nuts of fastening of an arm of a pedal to a partition (the same nuts also the vacuum amplifier fastens).
5. Turn off the top bolt and remove a pedal with an arm.
6. The pedal of a brake is executed together with an arm and separately does not change.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The pedal is established upside-down.
2. Check adjustment of a pedal.
