11.5. Brake diskDISKS OF FORWARD BRAKES
Prevention
Disks change only in couple and with a set of blocks.
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. |
2. Remove wheels. |
3. Slowly rotating, check a condition of a disk, if necessary remove blocks. |
4. The disk is subject to replacement in the presence on it cracks and traces of deep development. |
5. If on a disk the fillet caused by wear was formed, then it is necessary to measure disk thickness. |
6. Thickness is measured in several places, both in the place of contact with blocks, and on edge. |
7. If thickness is equal in places of wear limit or less, then the disk is subject to replacement. |
8. Check adjustment of the hug bearing then check a disk beating by means of the indicator or laying probes, for example between a disk and an arm of a support. |
9. If the beating exceeds norm, then remove a disk, turn and again establish on a nave. |
10. If the beating exceeds norm again, then replace a disk. |
11. Check a condition of a disk in places of fastening, damages to other places. |

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift the car and remove a wheel. |
2. Turn off two bolts on a support arm, get a support, take aside and fix. |
3. If the disk does not change, then put tags of mutual orientation to a disk and a nave. |
4. Remove a disk from hairpins of fastening of a wheel. |
5. If the disk does not give in to removal, then displace it, evenly wrapping M8 bolts in special carving openings. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Clear demountable surfaces of a nave and a disk. |
2. Establish a disk, having combined the put tags (if the removed disk is established). |
3. From a new disk remove preservative. |
4. Establish a support, wrap bolts with the set moment. |
5. Press several times a brake pedal. |
6. Establish a wheel, lower the car. Before departure check work of brakes. |

DISKS OF BACK BRAKES
Prevention
Disks change only in couple and with a set of blocks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift a back part of the car and establish on supports. |
2. Remove wheels. |
3. Release the emergency brake. |
4. Perform the operations described above. If blocks are removed, then be guided by the description in subsection 11.4.2. |

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift a back part of the car and establish on supports. |
2. Remove wheels. |
3. Turn off bolts and remove an arm of a cable of the emergency brake. |
4. Disconnect a cable from the lever on a support (on a part of cars get a cable cover from a bracket). |
5. Perform the operations described above. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Perform the operations described above. |
2. Attach a cable to the lever. |
3. On a part of cars insert a cable cover into a bracket, and combine a ledge on an arm with dredging on a support body. |
4. Turn on the emergency brake until the necessary gap between blocks and a disk is established. |
5. Press several times a brake pedal. |
6. Establish a wheel, lower the car. |
7. Before departure check work of brakes. |
