11.7. Support of a forward brake

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove a wheel.
3. For decrease in losses of liquid densely wrap a stopper of a tank having laid a polyethylene film, or press hoses.
4. Clear the ring union of a hose and turn off a bolt.
5. Remove two laying.
6. Remove blocks.
7. Turn away the top finger of a support.
8. Remove a support.
9. If necessary it is possible to remove a support arm.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully clear a support.
2. Get fingers for heads of bolts which screw in fingers.
3. Remove rubber covers of fingers.
	4. Remove a lock ring and a cover of the cylinder.
	5. Take the piston, having given air from the pump to an union opening.
	6. A wooden stick get a cylinder sealant.
7. Wash out all details in pure brake fluid or alcohol.
8. All a sealant and covers are subject to obligatory replacement.
9. Check a condition of a support, especially carefully examine the piston and the internal surface of the cylinder, replace worn-out details. The support or an arm of a support separately in the spare part are not delivered.
10. Minor defects on the cylinder are eliminated with polishing with a small skin whereas the piston with the same defects is subject to obligatory replacement. It is forbidden to polish the piston.
11. Check a condition of carvings on support fingers, the side play of fingers in a support has to be absent.
12. Blow channels in a support.
13. Before assembly check purity of all details.
14. Dip a cylinder sealant into liquid and establish in a cylinder flute.
	15. Dress a cover edge in a cylinder flute, grease with brake fluid the piston and the cylinder, install the piston in the cylinder and dress the second edge of a cover on the piston.
16. Dress new covers on support fingers, before installation in a support grease fingers with brake fluid.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a support arm, tighten bolts.

2. Establish a support, grease a carving of a bolt of the top finger with the fixing structure and wrap a bolt with the set moment.

3. Establish blocks.

4. Check freedom of movement of a support in an arm.

5. Attach a hose, having established two laying and having tightened a bolt of the ring union.

6. Remove polyethylene laying from a tank stopper (or remove collars from hoses).

7. Remove air from a wheel brake hydraulic actuator (if integrity of other contours was not broken).

8. Press several times a brake pedal.

9. Establish a wheel, lower the car.
