6.3.2.3. Accelerator ropeRemoval
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. On models with the 1,6 liters engine remove a casing of the air filter (cm. subsection 6.3.2.2) for improvement of access to the end of the rope connected to the case of a butterfly valve. |
2. Unhook a cable from a cam on the case of a butterfly valve. |

3. Turn off cable cover nuts to an arm and get a cable cover from an arm. |
4. Release a cable on all route of laying. |
5. In salon remove the lower panel from the driver. |
6. Disconnect a cable from a pedal. |
7. Turn off nuts of fastening of a cover to a partition of a motor compartment and get a cable, having stretched in a motor compartment. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Pass a cable through a partition of a motor compartment. |
2. Stretch a cable in a motor compartment and lay in the place. |
3. Fix by nuts a cable cover on a partition of a motor compartment. |
4. Attach a cable to a pedal. |
5. Install the lower panel. |
6. Fix a cable cover on all route. |
7. Attach a cable to a cam on an axis of a butterfly valve. |
8. Adjust a cable. On the models "Phase II" the butterfly valve copes with the 2,0 liters engine through an intermediate cam which is established from above an inlet collector. Then adjust installation of a cam of a butterfly valve. |

Adjustment of a cam of a butterfly valve
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Turn off a lock-nut and unscrew the restrictive screw of an intermediate cam. |
2. Holding a cam in situation at which the butterfly valve is completely open, twirl the screw so that it concerned the restrictive lever. Then, release a cam and turn the screw on three whole revolutions clockwise. Holding the screw, twirl a lock-nut. |
3. Take away a cam in situation at which the butterfly valve is completely open, and check that the restrictive lever of a cam concerned the screw. |
