6.3.2.10. Case of a butterfly valve

Fixing bolts of the case of a butterfly valve dressed with the 1,6 l engine

Fixing bolts – are specified by shooters

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Models with the 1,6 liters engine
1. Disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator.
2. Remove a casing of the air filter, being guided by the instructions provided in subsection 6.3.2.2.
3. Squeeze fixing clips and disconnect connection sockets from a potentiometer of a butterfly valve, the additional valve of air supply, the sensor of an air stream and the electromagnetic valve of increase in speed of operation of the engine in the idling mode.
4. Disconnect an accelerator rope from a cam of a butterfly valve. Turn off a lock-nut and an adjusting nut, and get a rope braid from a fixing arm.
5. Remember or mark the provision of installation of all vacuum and ventilating hoses in order that it is correct to connect them at installation of the case of a butterfly valve, then, release fixing collars (where are established) and disconnect hoses from the case of a butterfly valve.
6. Release fixing collars, then, disconnect cooling system hoses on both sides of the case of a butterfly valve and stop up openings of hoses. Make it quickly to minimize loss of cooling liquid.
7. Turn off and remove the fixing bolts fixing the case of a butterfly valve to an inlet collector and remove the case of a butterfly valve from the car. Remove laying and you will throw out it; at installation use new. Stop up an opening of an inlet collector with a pure rag in order that dirt or foreign objects did not get to it.
Models with the 2,0 liters engine
8. Release a fixing collar and disconnect the inlet air duct from the case of a butterfly valve.
9. Disconnect the connection socket from a potentiometer of a butterfly valve.
10. On the models "Phase I" accurately disconnect a rod of the connecting mechanism of an accelerator from the spherical hinge on the case of a butterfly valve.
11. On the models "Phase II" disconnect an accelerator rope from a cam of a butterfly valve. On models with the automatic transmission, also, disconnect a rope of decrease in transfer.
12. On all models release fixing collars, disconnect cooling system hoses from the case of a butterfly valve and stop up openings of hoses. Make it quickly to minimize loss of cooling liquid.
13. On all models, remember or mark the provision of installation of all vacuum and ventilating hoses in order that it is correct to connect them at installation of the case of a butterfly valve, then, release fixing collars (where are established) and disconnect hoses from the case of a butterfly valve.
14. If it is necessary, remove a fixing arm of an inlet collector for receiving access to bolts of fastening of the case of a butterfly valve.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Before installation check that the adjoining surfaces of the case of a butterfly valve and an inlet collector were pure and equal.
2. Establish new laying on an inlet collector. Install the case of a butterfly valve on an inlet collector, then, diagonalno tighten all fixing bolts till the required moment of an inhaling of a stage 1, then, tighten them till the required moment of an inhaling of a stage 2 (see subsection 6.3.2.1).
3. Check that all hoses were correctly established and if it is necessary, fix them by means of fixing collars;
4. Upon completion of installation adjust an accelerator rope, being guided by the instructions provided in subsection 6.3.2.3.
5. On models with the automatic transmission adjust a rope of decrease in transfer, being guided by the instructions provided in subsection 9.2.4.

6.3.2.9. Fuel tank

6.3.2.11. Elements of system of injection of fuel (1,6 l engines)
