6.3.2.11. Elements of system of injection of fuel (1,6 l engines)

Prevention

You watch precautionary measures in subsection 6.3.2 before work.

If you consider that the injector failed, try to clear it by means of an appropriate means for cleaning of injectors, such as Holts Redex Injector Treatment.

Hose of supply of fuel and hose of the return pipeline of a fuel collector – model with the 1,6 l engine

The hose of supply of fuel and hose of the return pipeline of a fuel collector are specified by shooters.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator. For improvement of access to a fuel collector remove a casing of the air filter, being guided by the instructions provided in subsection 6.3.2.2.
2. Disconnect a vacuum tube from pressure regulator in fuel system.
3. Release pressure from fuel system, being guided by the instructions provided in subsection 6.3.2.6. Then, release fixing clips and disconnect a hose of supply of fuel and a hose of the return pipeline on the left side of a fuel collector (see rice. A hose of supply of fuel and a hose of the return pipeline of a fuel collector – model with the 1,6 l engine). Mark hoses if it is necessary not to mix them at installation.
4. Squeeze uvulas and disconnect connection sockets from four injectors.
5. Turn off and remove fixing bolts of a fuel collector, then, accurately remove a fuel collector and injectors from an inlet collector and get it from a motive compartment. Remove the laying established between a fuel collector and an inlet collector and remove consolidations of injectors from an inlet collector.
6. Turn off two fixing bolts and remove a fixing plate from the corresponding injector. Squeeze out an injector and remove sealing rings. In the same way remove other injectors.
7. You will throw out consolidations and sealing rings; at installation it is necessary to use new.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Establish new sealing rings on those injectors which were removed, and also, establish new consolidations of injectors on an inlet collector.

2. Oil engine sealing rings for installation simplification, then, establish injectors on a fuel collector;
3. Establish new consolidation on each of injectors and establish a fuel collector on an inlet collector.
4. Establish laying between a fuel collector and an inlet collector, then, in a diagonal order, since the middle, tighten fixing bolts till the required moment of an inhaling of a stage 1 (see subsection 6.3.2.1). Then, again, in the same order tighten bolts till the required moment of an inhaling of a stage 2.
5. Upon completion of installation start the engine and check whether there is no fuel leak.
