1. If on tips of high-voltage wires there are no tags indicating belonging to this cylinder, then put tags from 1 to 4 (the 1st cylinder is located from a gas distribution mechanism chain). Disconnect wires, holding a tip, but not a wire. |
| 2. Before turning out candles it is recommended to remove dirt from deepenings near candles by means of a pure brush, the vacuum cleaner or compressed air to avoid hit of dirt in cylinders. |

3. Turn out candles a special candle key, either a cap key, or a face head with the extender. At an otvorachivaniye hold a head strictly in the direction of an axis of a candle, otherwise at a distortion of a head breakage of the porcelain insulator is possible. Candles are recommended to be checked by the following technique. |
| 4. It is possible to determine a condition of the engine by appearance of a candle rather precisely. If the skirt of the insulator of a candle pure and white color and on it is absent a raid, then it indicates the grown poor gas mixture or that the insulator of a candle was heated (the heated candle badly takes away heat from an electrode, and on a cold candle heat is taken away quickly). |
| 5. If the insulator and an electrode of a candle are covered with firm deposits of black color, then it testifies to the reenriched gas mixture. Massive oily deposits indicate that the engine is worn-out or used the reenriched mix. |
| 6. If the skirt of the insulator is pruinose sand or reddish-brown color, then the engine is in good repair and composition of mix are optimum |
| 7. The gap between electrodes of candles has special value, – at increase or reduction of a gap against norm the size of a spark interval and the igniting ability of a spark will significantly change. It is necessary to establish the optimum gap between electrodes specified in subsection 2.1. |

| 8. Before adjustment measure a gap by the probe and turn in (or unbend) an external electrode before receiving the necessary gap. The central electrode is forbidden to be turned in as the insulator of a candle can burst that will entail serious breakages. |
| 9. For measurement and adjustment of a gap on sale there is special adaptation. |
| 10. Before installation of candles be convinced of durability of carving conclusions of the central electrode and of purity of a carving of candles and the insulator, using a piece of a rubber hose to wrap candles without distortion. |
| 11. Remove a rubber hose and tighten I shine with a dynamometer key with a special face head. Wrap other candles. |
| 12. Connect high-voltage wires in a former order, establish all removed details. |
