12.8.1. Rack of a back suspension bracket

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove a wheel.
3. Turn off a nut of draft of the stabilizer on a rack.
4. Disconnect conducting of ABS system from a rack.
5. Get a bracket and disconnect a brake hose from a rack.
6. Turn off two nuts (are specified by shooters) fastenings are permanent to the case of a nave and disconnect a rack.
7. For access to the top fastening of a rack sort a back of a back seat (see subsection 13.23).
8. On cars the sedan remove the back shelf.
9. Remove an overlay of a rug.
10. Hook and remove a plastic cover of fastening of a rack (shooters specified nuts of the top fastening of a back rack).
11. Ask the assistant to support a rack from below, turn off three nuts of fastening of a rack, lower and get a rack.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clamp the lower part of a rack in a vice through laying.
2. Screw nuts on hairpins, упершись in hairpins the lever, release the top nut of a rod of the shock-absorber. Completely not to turn off a nut.
3. Squeeze a spring by means of adaptation so that the top plate could rotate by hand.
4. Turn out a rod nut, holding a rod from a provorachivaniye.
5. Remove washers, laying, the top cap and a plate of a spring.
6. Get a spring, a dust cover and the rubber buffer.
7. Check a condition of details, replace the worn-out and damaged details.
8. Check existence of a leak from the shock-absorber and a condition of a rod on all length.
9. Check existence on the case of cracks and damages.
10. Check work of a rack, at first having nominated a rod to all length, and then moving and nominating a rod to 50–100 mm. Smooth resistance to movement of a rod has to be felt.
11. If traces of a leak, mechanical damages are observed, and the movement of a rod is followed by "breakthroughs", then the rack is subject to replacement. The spring and all details can be established on a new rack.
12. Examine a spring.
13. If are found strong corrosion of a spring, crack on rounds, deformation or any signs of a doubtful state, then replace a spring.
14. Clamp a rack in a vice and install the rubber buffer and a dust cover.
15. Squeeze and establish a spring so that color marking was turned down. The termination of a round of a spring has to come into deepening of a plate.
16. Install the top buffer and a plate, having correctly arranged a spring round in a plate. At installation of a rack of the shooter on the top plate it has to be turned in the cross direction outside (And – the cross direction, In – towards a forward part).
17. Collect the top fastening of a rack, observing an order of details, and wrap a new nut of a rod.
18. Tighten a nut with the set moment, holding a rod.
19. Remove the device for compression of a spring.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish new laying of the top fastening of a rack.
2. Establish a rack so that hairpins entered body openings, and the groove on the top plate was turned in the cross direction outside.
3. Replace and tighten nuts with the set moment.
4. Combine openings in a rack and in the nave case, tighten new nuts and bolts with the set moment (nuts have to be turned on the car course).
5. Attach draft of the stabilizer and tighten a new nut with the set moment.
6. The hinge of draft of the stabilizer has to be located on the center of the arch described by draft at its shift. In this situation the hinge has to be completely unloaded.
7. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
