6.3.1.13.12. Sensor of detonation combustion of fuel


Prevention

The sensor of detonation combustion of fuel is very fragile device and will fail if to drop it or to strike.


The sensor of detonation combustion of fuel is installed on a reverse side of the block of cylinders.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For receiving access to the sensor, put the car on the emergency brake, then, lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support. Access to the sensor can be got from below the car.
2. Disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator.
3. Then disconnect the socket of connection of the sensor.
4. Turn off and remove a bolt, the fixing sensor to the block of cylinders, and remove it from below the car.
5. At installation, check that the adjoining surfaces of the sensor and the block of cylinders were pure and dry.
6. Install the sensor so that its socket of connection was turned to the right side of the engine, then, establish a fixing bolt and tighten it till the required inhaling moment.
7. Check that anything else did not concern the sensor, then, lower the car on the earth and connect the accumulator.
