6.4.2.3.3. Electromagnetic valve

Replacement of the operating electromagnetic valve – model with electronic injection of fuel (except the models "Phase I" with the 2,0 liters engine and multipoint system of injection of fuel).

The electromagnetic valve on models "Phase II" with the 2,0 l engine

The electromagnetic valve is installed on the main fixing arm of an inlet collector.

The operating electromagnetic valve is installed on the back side of an inlet collector on models with the 1,6 liters engine and on the left or lower side of an inlet collector on models with the 2,0 liters engine.

For improvement of access to the electromagnetic valve on models with the 1,6 liters engine, remove a casing of the air filter

On models with the 2,0 liters engine, lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support to get access to the valve from below of the car (if it is necessary).

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For replacement of the electromagnetic valve disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator, then, squeeze a fixing clip and disconnect the socket of connection of the valve.
2. Remember or mark the provision of installation everything hoses on the valve. Not to connect hoses it is wrong at installation, mark each of hoses and branch pipes at removal.
3. Release collars (if are established) and disconnect hoses from the valve, then, remove the valve from a fixing arm.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. At installation check correctness of connection of hoses.
