13.7. Cowl

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl, designate the provision of loops on a cowl.
2. Exempt a windscreen washer hose from brackets, having disconnected from the union.
3. Turn off fastening bolts to loops and with the assistant remove a cowl.
4. Check a side play of axes in loops, if necessary turn off two bolts and replace loops.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a cowl combine with tags on loops and tighten bolts.
2. Attach a hose and lay in brackets.
3. Adjust a cowl.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Close a cowl and check gaps with adjacent panels of a body. If necessary weaken bolts of loops and adjust the provision of a cowl, tighten bolts.
2. After adjustment of a cowl check operation of the lock and adjust. The latch of the lock has to work when the cowl is below a wing edge on 1,0–1,5 mm. Release lock bolts, adjust situation and tighten bolts.
3. If necessary adjust the provision of a forward edge of a cowl on height, rotating the rubber buffers screwed in a forward partition of a body.
