6.2.7. Decompression of fuel system

Prevention

When working follow fire safety regulations.

The fuel system is under pressure both at the working engine, and at inclusion of ignition. After switching off of ignition pressure in system can remain still some time and in need of removal of any unit it is necessary to dump residual pressure.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Find and get a safety lock of the fuel pump from the assembly block.
2. Start the engine, wait for an engine stop.
3. Check availability of fuel in system restart.
4. Disconnect the battery from weight.
5. The safety lock is recommended to be put into place only upon termination of works if for performance of work it is necessary to insert a safety lock, then do not include ignition.
