6.2.6. System of injection of fuel

Cars are equipped with the system of direct electronic injection of ECCS fuel operating also the ignition moment.

The fuel pump located in a tank provides supply of fuel via the filter (it is mounted on a partition of a motor compartment) in the distributor under constant pressure. Stabilization of pressure of fuel at the exit of the distributor is provided with pressure regulator.

The control unit and the following sensors are a part of system of injection of fuel:

  – sensor of turn of a butterfly valve;
  – sensor of temperature of cooling liquid;
  – stream speed measuring instrument;
  – sensor of turn of the crankshaft;
  – car speed sensor;
  – sensor of pressure of the hydraulic booster;
  – sensor of exhaust gases.

The processor control unit compares the arriving information and develops the signals operating nozzles, composition of mix and the moment of ignition.

Automatic stabilization of idling is provided with the perepuskny air valve operated from the processor block.

On the case of a butterfly valve the system of automatic increase in idling on the cold engine which copes from the thermostatic valve is provided. In process of warming up of the engine the working body of the valve extends, moving a plunger of the valve which in turn affects a cam of the roller of a butterfly valve, thereby covering the gate.

The electromagnetic valve of correction of turns of idling at increase of load of the engine (is also provided in system of injection for example at turning on of the hydraulic booster or conditioner).


Prevention

On a part of cars this valve is installed without connection (stays idle).


On cars with converter the processor block operates also systems of decrease in toxicity.

Function of "protection against refusals" which in case of refusal one of sensors provides transfer of management to the reserve imitating scheme that allows to continue the movement, though with the worsened operational parameters is provided in the control unit. In this case on the dashboard the control lamp lights up, and malfunction is coded and brought in memory of the control unit.

At fire of a control lamp the car should be handed over in service of car service of the dealer.
Prevention

The self-diagnostics function providing independent reading of codes of refusals is provided in the control unit.
