7.7.5. Integrated module

Only for carburetor engines without converter.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the distributor.
2. Remove the runner.
Hitachi distributor
3. Apply a tag on that part of the gear core which is turned up.
4. Remove the core, get a pin. If necessary it is possible to remove the runner.
5. Carefully disconnect from the wire module, remembering an order of their arrangement.
6. Unscrew screws and remove the module.
Mitsubishi distributor
7. Uncover the distributor.
8. Disconnect wires, unscrew screws and get the probe.
9. Unscrew screws and remove the integrated module.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down.
2. On the Hitachi distributor check a gap in the induction sensor between the core and the stator which has to be 0,3–0,5 mm.
3. If necessary adjust, having unscrewed screws and having moved the stator.
