6.3.2.12.8. Valve of adjustment of intake of air

PHASE I MODELS

The valve of adjustment of intake of air is installed under an inlet collector.

Before its removal, disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For improvement of access put the car on the emergency brake, then, lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support. Then, access to the valve can be got from above and from below.
2. Disconnect the socket of connection of the valve, then, release fixing collars and disconnect vacuum hoses and hoses of the cooling system. Quickly stop up openings of hoses of the cooling system to prevent fuel leak.
3. Turn off and remove fixing bolts, then, remove the valve from an inlet collector.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

PHASE II MODELS

The valve of adjustment of intake of air is installed on the left side of an inlet collector, is slightly lower than the block of adjustment of air supply during the operation of the engine in the idling mode.

Before its removal, disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator.

The valve of adjustment of intake of air – the Phase II model

2. Fixing bolts

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the top section of an inlet collector, being guided by the instructions provided in subitem 20-25 of subsection 6.3.2.13.
2. Release fixing collars and disconnect both vacuum hoses from the valve.
3. Turn off and remove fixing bolts, then, remove the valve from an inlet collector.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
