1. It is expedient to change oil right after a trip that the engine and the check point were heated-up up to the working temperature. |
2. Park the car on a plain surface, put on the emergency brake and switch off ignition. For expansion of working space lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. Keep in mind that the car is required to be lowered that when checking level of oil to receive exact indications. |
3. Wipe a stopper of a control opening (this opening is also intended also for gas station of oil), which is in a forward part of a case of the check point. Turn off a stopper and wipe. |
4. Substitute the pallet under a drain stopper which is on the left side in a check point differential case. |
5. Merge oil in the pallet, having taken measures not to get burn. Carefully clear traffic jams of drain and control openings, having removed metal particles from magnetic inserts. |
6. After running off of oil clear carvings on traffic jams and in a case, tighten a drain stopper with the set moment. If the car was lifted, then lower it on wheels. |
7. Gas station of the check point – quite labor-consuming operation. Before check of level it is necessary to wait a long time that oil completely flew down. Keep in mind that during check of level of oil the car has to be in the check point on a flat plain surface. |
8. Fill in in the check point oil of the necessary brand and in the necessary quantity, then check level (see subsection 2.2.8). If in the check point the standard amount of oil is filled in, and when checking level a lot of oil follows, then wrap a stopper of a control opening and make a short trip that oil was evenly distributed on internal space of a case and details of the check point. Having come back to the former place, again check level. |
9. If level meets standard, then wrap a stopper with the set moment. |
