3.2.2.5. Head of the block of cylinders

Dismantling

Prevention

In points of repair by the manufacturer in the spare part new and repair heads of the block of cylinders are delivered. Because procedures of dismantling and check require the specialized tool, and it is sometimes hard to find spare parts, acquisition of a new head of the block, than dismantling, check and repair of the head which was in operation is represented to more expedient.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Remove the soaking-up and final collectors if these details are not removed yet (see subsection 6.1.12 and subsection 6.1.13).
3. Remove levers of the drive of valves and hydroregulators.
4. Turn off bolts and remove cooling system branch pipes from a head of cylinders.
5. Squeeze a spring of the first valve by means of adaptation and remove crackers. Carefully release a valve spring, remove a plate springs, a spring and a basic washer. Remove flat-nose pliers oil scraper caps from the directing plugs.
6. If at compression of adaptation a plate the spring of the valve does not depart and does not release crackers, then slightly knock on adaptation directly over a plate the hammer with soft brisk that will facilitate removal of a plate.
7. Get the valve from a head of cylinders from the combustion chamber.
8. The valve should be stored together with crackers, a spring, a plate of a spring and a basic washer. Valves also should be marked to establish on the former place, except for in what strong wear because of which replacement of the valve is required is found.
9. If valves are installed again, then place them in the separate polyethylene bag supplied with the corresponding number. Keep in mind that the N1 valve is near a cover of a chain of the gas-distributing mechanism.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a basic washer of a spring, then dip an oil scraper cap into fresh oil for the engine. Carefully dress a cap on a core of the valve and on the plug. Do not damage caps when clothing on a valve core.
2. On the directing plug a cap to a napressuyta by means of a mandrel.
3. Oil cores of valves fresh for the engine and install valves in the corresponding guides of the plug on a head of cylinders, observing an order of initial installation. New valves should be installed in those saddles to which they were ground in.
4. Establish a spring on a basic washer, having oriented so that densely wound rounds of a spring were turned down.
5. Install a plate of a spring.
6. Squeeze springs and insert crackers into a flute on a valve core. Release a spring of the valve and remove adaptation. Similarly establish crackers of other valves.

Prevention

To hold crackers in valve flutes during removal of adaptation, fix crackers, having applied on them with a point jellied lubricant.

7. After installation of all valves turn a head of cylinders and besiege details of the valvate mechanism easy blows of the hammer through a wooden pro-rate on a core of each valve.
8. Check purity of demountable surfaces of a head of cylinders and a branch pipe of the cooling system. Apply a strip of sealant on these surfaces and establish a branch pipe, having reliably tightened bolts.
9. Now it is possible to collect a head of cylinders with other details.
