Prevention

If the chain drive is uncovered without violation of integrity of fastening of a head of cylinders, then after assembly weak leaks of oil in the place of a prileganiye of a cover and head of cylinders are possible. Have it in a look, and at removal of a cover of the chain drive solve in advance laying of a head of cylinders will or not be replaced.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a crankshaft pulley (see subsection 3.2.1.5).
2. Remove both oil pallets and an oil receiver assembled with the filter of rough cleaning (see subsection 3.2.1.12).
3. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster (see subsection 12.15).
4. Remove a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid.
5. Remove the generator (see subsection 7.3).
6. Raise the engine, having substituted a jack under a cast framework of covers of radical bearings in a crankshaft case, previously having laid a board under a framework. It is also possible to hang out the engine on an elevator waist, or on a traverse, having hooked on waists for technological eyes which are provided on the engine.
7. Turn off a coupling bolt of the right support of the power unit, then turn off bolts of fastening and get a support assembled from a motor compartment. If rubber pillows of support lagged behind a body arm, then remove also pillows.
8. Turn off bolts of fastening of an arm and remove an arm of the right support of the power unit from the engine.
9. Weaken and turn off bolts of a cover of the chain drive, including three top bolts of fastening of a cover to a head of the block of cylinders. Bolts have the different length therefore, it is necessary to mark their initial situation.
10. Uncover a crankshaft sock, then manipulating, get a cover from a motor compartment. Take ring laying which should be replaced surely from the oil channel.
11. If the directing cover pins weakened, then get them and you store together with a cover.
12. Remember the correct arrangement of an oil nozzle for chain lubricant a stream. If the nozzle freely gets, then remove it and you store together with a cover.
13. Remove the remote plug of the leading gear wheel of the oil pump from a crankshaft sock. Remove a spline (if landing of a spline in a flute weakened) from the crankshaft and you store together with the remote plug.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation it is recommended to replace a crankshaft epiploon. Carefully take the epiploon which was in operation, having hooked it the big screw-driver.
2. Establish a new epiploon so that sponges of working edges were directed inside. Press an epiploon into place against the stop in a fillet. It is possible to press an epiploon the tubular mandrel resting only against an external edge of an epiploon.
3. Make sure that the condensed surfaces of a cover and the block of cylinders pure and dry.
4. Install a spline on the crankshaft (if acted).
5. Combine a flute under a spline in the remote plug of the oil pump with a spline, then dress the plug on a crankshaft sock.
6. Insert into place adjusting pins (if acted) and lay in a flute around the oil channel ring laying. Check also correctness of installation of a nozzle for chain lubricant (if the nozzle was removed).
7. Apply a thin film of sealant on demountable cover surfaces with the block of cylinders.
Prevention

It is forbidden to apply sealant near an opening of the oil channel of a cover and an oil flute (this place is specified a photo by an arrow).
8. If the head of cylinders was not removed, then apply also sealant and on the top surface of a cover.
9. Bring a cover and expose the leading gear wheel of the oil pump so that this gear wheel entered gearing with the remote plug at installation of a cover into place. Dress a cover on the crankshaft, watching to damaging working edges of an epiploon, establish a cover on the directing pins.
10. Wrap bolts of fastening of a cover in former openings, tighten bolts evenly on the cover plane. Tighten in stages, gradually increasing effort before achievement of the set inhaling moment.
11. Wrap three bolts of M6 of fastening of a cover of the chain drive to a head of the block of cylinders, tighten bolts with the set moment.
12. Install an arm of the right suspension bracket of the power unit on the engine, tighten bolts with the set moment. Establish rubber pillows on a suspension bracket arm from a body (if pillows got), having convinced that hairpins of pillows entered openings in an arm. Establish a support and tighten bolts with the set moment.
13. Combine the right support of the power unit with a body arm, insert a coupling bolt and tighten a bolt nut with the set moment. Remove the car from a support.
14. Establish an oil receiver with the filter of rough cleaning and the oil pallet (see subsection 3.2.1.12).
15. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders (see subsection 3.2.1.4).
16. Install the generator (see subsection 7.3).
17. Establish a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid and reliably tighten bolts.
18. Install the pump of the hydraulic booster (see subsection 12.15).
19. Establish a crankshaft pulley (see subsection 3.1.1.5).
